Schools

As educators, your commitment to nurturing and protecting students is paramount. In today's world, being prepared for any situation is essential. Our Escape, Barricade, Resist, Survive (EBRS) Training and School Vulnerability Assessment are specifically designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to prevent and handle active threat scenarios effectively.

Active Threat Training

An Options-Based Approach is Key to Saving Lives

In the traditional "lockdown" model, teachers lock themselves and their students in their classrooms and simply hope for the best.

Beacon's EBRS training program gives teachers the skills, knowledge, and tools needed to adapt and customize their actions based on various considerations should an active threat or mass casualty incident occur at their school.

Vulnerability Assessment

A Vulnerability Assessment is a proactive approach to ensuring a safer work environment. Over approximately 90 days, our team conducts a thorough, on-site evaluation of each building to identify security gaps and recommend practical, effective improvements.

What We Assess:

Campus Security – Infrastructure, parking lot design, access points, and crime prevention strategies.
Entry & Exit Controls – Door and window security, visitor access, arrival/dismissal procedures.
Surveillance & Communication – Video monitoring, PA systems, and emergency communication readiness.
Safety Plans & Training – Review of staff/student preparedness and emergency response protocols.

At the end of the assessment, you’ll receive a clear, prioritized action plan to enhance security across your campus. Don’t wait for a crisis—take action now to protect your staff and students.
